This entire arc the fanbase has been praying for their daddy kaido to win everytime. From the first time kaido one shot luffy, "ErMaHgErD BaByShAkE!!!, tHis Is tHe pOwEr oF A yoNkO HuE HuE!!!" Everyone celebrates again once kaido beats luffy on the rooftop..."IF iTs A 1v1 bEt On KAiDo HuE HuE!!!", and then celebrate again once blue scarf sneaks luffy so kaido can win again. But when luffy goes gear 5 and starts winning..."AsSpUlL AnD PlOtArMoUrS". And now that luffys about to win the fight yall dont want it to end and ready to call it trash lmfao. It is that people have something against luffy? Is it because people realise that luffy becoming this strong means the series may end sooner than people think? Or maybe its because people are just downright obsessed with yonkos, because the majority of people wanted big mom to beat kid and law too, and are still salty about it to this day. And then there's the whole bunch of wierdos that pray for the raid to fail, even this late in to the arc.

Certain parts of the fight has felt repetive for awhile now but its mostly Cult Luffy haters

the other double standard is the people that hate on luffy getting powerups will happily eat up any powerup that kaido or big mom get. Saw no one complain about big mom suddenly being able to heal her bones + make herself bigger. And now people are praying to dear god that kaido has an awakening. Fought Yamato and took a combined attack from both activated mythical Zoans when Luffy arrived. Luffy admitted to having nothing left before CP0 interfered but even so... Kaido killed that guy and apologized for someone helping him without his consent. Lmao. Now he says don't worry about grabbing me because I won't run.

The only folk I ever see wanting Kaido to clap Luffy's rubber cheeks are either Yonko fans who think Kaido's performance magically transfers to their favourite emperor or actual Kaido fans who like the most boring antagonist in this series because "Kaido stronk".

Oda even had to dumb him down to take the giant punch directly when he could easily fly around it and burn Luffy

No, luffy its not kaido power level yet thats why we hate it, its just plot armor!!
If luffy and strawhats, law, kidd, marci work together to beat kaido alone and because of his pride kaido not stands down and later get beaten. we can cheering about that together
