Funny Luffy bros are very quiet about that if i recall correctly they were using team battle excuse against Zoro on the roof although he landed most of his attacks on Kaido by himself. Kaido invites Luffy to take biggest punch we have seen basically his finisher

I feel the opposite actually. This arc made me realize that Oda does not care that much about consistent powerscaling. If he wants a character to win, he'll have them win regardless of how much sense it makes

Their visions aren't deep enough.

They can't see through Oda's thinking. The man is obviously setting up for an astonishing Final War and this Kaido hype will more and more get dim.

Because Luffy became so much a walking, breathing and laughing utopia/ideal, whose victories are achieved through fate’s intervention in his favour, that villains are more relatable than him.
And many readers in a fictional story crave for someone to relate with.

People, the yonkous have to be out even before of the end. It was very clear, at least I'm happy that Kaido has an end. I don't want a Cuckdara 2.0 and to be honest, Kaido was amazing in Onigashima, he fighted against almost all the cast in the "good guys" side, excepto for Sanji, Jinbei and Marco... I think Kaido fight with all the strong guys on Luffy's side.
