After all their immense hype and portrayal as the "Ultimate Weapons" it would be weird if they were just off screened.

These guys are the replacement for the Shichibukai. Oda used an Emperor to hype their debut.

Furthermore, Saturn who wields ultimate authority over the Seraphim just happens to be present at Egghead now, and without knowledge of the alliance.

IMO it's most likely that they simply brought the Seraphim under control after subduing York.

Vegapunk's authority outstrips York after all.

Because if they weren’t defeated, why wouldn’t the straw hats use it against the marine force? Oda showed the force that will be fighting the marines in the double spread; but the Seraphim weren’t included.

And subduing the Seraphim can only be done in person so unless York personally went to every battle to tell them to stand down, there’s really no way to subdue all four Seraphim who are all in different parts of egghead.

I didn't see Kaku in that panel.

Was Stussy there? Where all the other Vegapunks there?

IDK, maybe we shouldn't extrapolate too much in regards to off paneled scenes.

The double spread was already overloaded with characters as it was, and I remember even some basic ones like Robin were missing. Not to mention Sentoumaru and his Pacifistas. I guess they will stay behind and await death.

Lucci was the stand in for CP0
Stella was the stand in for Vegapunk
But there wasn’t a single Seraphim. Meanwhile last time we saw them they were engaged in combat with the straw hats and now Luffy Lucci and Zoro have bandages to show the fight, it’s likely the fight just ended as fights usually do.

Sentomaru and the pacifistas aren’t in the egg. They’re below the dome so why would they be there?

Who wants another 5 chapter+ of zoro and sanji still fighting seraphim because they can’t figure out how to beat them
:sanmoji:
If luffy, Lucci, Sanji, kaku, and especially zoro who already beat king couldn’t figure out a way to beat them then it’s beyond lame and sad imo

Plus they’re still children them getting beat doesn’t make them look bad at all because they’re going to grow a lot stronger

Seraphs are simply shutdown by York
Strawhats shoyld tie all of them by seastone or else Saturn can use them again

Because you said "Oda showed the force that will be fighting the marines in the double spread; but the Seraphim weren’t included." which implies Sentoumaru being in a different part of the island means he's not part of the force that will be fighting the marines.

The Seraphims are likely not in the picture precisely to create a sense of mystery towards what happened during the small timeskip, something that Oda already played around with before the double spread. They are most likely fine next room, with the possible exception of S-Snake.

Fair point re: the bandages.

Could be the Strawhats defeated the Seraphims. I doubt they're out for the count though. Saturn having supreme authority over them could suggest they might make a comeback under his control.

Yeah it’s possible he may take them after Egghead, but I don’t think they’ll be in this battle for egghead.
