Oda hasn't explained what was Kaido's debt to Linlin though it's most likely because of something Linlin did for him during their time together in the Rocks Pirates or after the battle God Valley.

When they were both in Rocks Kaido was an acquaintance. 3 possibilities:
a) He owes her a debt because she saved him during Rock's downfall
b) Yamato is BM's only child that she doesn't have in her crew and let him stay with Kaido
c) She threatened Whitebeard that if he comes to Wano to avenge Oden she will join Kaido or attack his territories when he's not there

I believe Whitebeard moved the last Road Poneglyph from Fishman Island and that is why Kaido and Big Mom couldn't become the Pirate King and maybe Marco's message to Luffy is based on last Road Poneglyph location.

Oh, that’s a good theory! If that ends up coming true, then I think Kaido was saved by Linlin in some other situation during their time with Rocks. I don’t think she’d say he owes her for giving birth to Yamato (if indeed she did), and if it’s not something that advanced Kaido’s pirating career somehow, I’m not sure what else makes sense.

I think Big Mom interfe when Whitebeard wanted go kill Kaido in Wano but Big Mom wouldnt do something so dangerous in order to save somebody else without reason (logic) and as Kaido is pirate as well and both were in same crew i belive they had relationship and had feelings 8r Yamato may be son of both of them, we know Kaido didn't payed debt back or meet Linlin for more than decade
