Questions & Mysteries why does Kidd have so little panel time in Wano

#3
You are free to believe what you want, but panel time is not an indicator.
Look at what happened in Marineford, Teach and his crew arrived in chapter 575 and left in chapter 580.
5 chapters in total, not even centred on them (except 1 or 2) but at the end of the day:
- Officially killed Whitebeard
- Stole the Gura Gura
- Fought briefly with Sengoku
This is just an example to show you that doesn't matter the quantity of panel time, but the quality.

Also giving a look at the ranking you posted, if we are supposed to take it as the relevance of what the character will do then we should take for granted that Raizo is more relevant than Linlin or Kinemon more than Oden. Doesn't make much sense.
All this panel time thing is a narrative technique of the author, absence keeps the reader wondering on what that character is doing/will do. And we all know that Oda is a master of this kind of shit.

I'll not try to persuade you that Kidd will kill Kaido, I have my reason to believe it just like you have your reason to believe Zoro will do it, what I'm really trying to say is that most of you are judging Kidd character from the wrong perspective (and a lot of bias), often going against what Oda literally draws.
Let's be clear on this: a lot of you wank Zoro to much :zosleepy:

He doesn't have ryou though when did he learn he doesn't seem like the type who would learn for hyou and he didn't know it before because Kaido was surprised at being hurt the scabbard so it was probably the first time he saw it in years. So its not Ryo maybe hes done something with his DF
We dont know if he is able to use Ryu. If not, he will have found a way to seriously attack Kaido, otherwise he wouldnt go against Kaido again.

Also just because kaido was surprised of the Scabbards using Ryu it doesnt mean he hasnt seen it in years, he just didnt expected it from the scabbards, thats all.

I would not exclude Ryu, his DF gives him the ability to control metal (and showed to be a physical fighter) so makes sense that between CoO and CoA he prioritizes CoA, and maybe after the fight with Kaido he figured out that there is an advanced level of CoA and trained it.
All this is an hypothesis obviously.
If he doesn't have Ryu he for sure can hurt Kaido with his DF ability somehow. Kidd's power is all to be discovered
My guess is a combination of both, tho. Just like Luffy

Also just because kaido was surprised of the Scabbards using Ryu it doesnt mean he hasnt seen it in years, he just didnt expected it from the scabbards, thats all.
Also I agree with this

I don't judge panel time honestly, but the quality of it.

For example Zoro seemingly got half the time as Luffy (assuming this stuff is not fake) but I honestly loved his content more and now just because I'm a Zoro fanboy but in general there was more hype and portrayal quality in his panels overall, mostly for how powerful the parallel with Oden was, but also the Kaido implications.

Comparisons to Blackbeard at Marineford don’t work. Blackbeard made a huge dramatic entrance in Marineford and then stole the show. Kid has been in the arc since the end of Act One, he’s been shown, he just hasn’t been all that important in it. Take him out of the arc and nothing changes- you could take him out of the series and nothing would change.

Ultimately we know that Kid will play a role in Kaido’s defeat, but there’s very little reason to suspect it will be a massive one. Compare how Kid has been treated here to how Law was treated in Dressrosa. Law was as much a main character as Luffy that arc. Can’t say the same for Kid.
