#26
Sanji always had a little mystery for his character. Zoro doesn’t
Yes he does. We literally don't know shit about him. His backstory was like 5 pages.

For the sake of it

Why did Michael Jordan want to be the best basketball player in the world? For the sake of being the best
Yea, but why he pick up the sword.

Cause he was born in a village built by people who come from the land of the sword.

That's enough of a reason
He knew about Ryuma before he ket him. Maybe that old samurai guy told Zoro about him and young Zoro wanted to be like him

nah, we saw Zoro’s reaction to the first mentions of Ryuma and Wano, there was no reaction, he was as blank as everybody else… Besides Zoro admitted he didnt give a shit about the shimotsuki guy hence why he never even used the Sunachi word himself
He never said he didn't give a shit and he just didn't use it. Didn't Zoro already hear about Ryuma when he met him. Which meets somebody from his clan told him about him.

@Sword God Ryuma The village he grew up in was built by swordsmen and had a prominent dojo

As someone pointed out in the comments, we dont know why Nami chose to become a cartographer as well. The story just starts with her having a dream because it has to. And we will never learn a secret reason for this either

@Sword God Ryuma nope. Brook told him about Ryuma

Oda already hinted we are getting one so it doesn't matter.
@Sword God Ryuma the only hints Oda gave were regaeding the origin of Wado ichimonji

We do know the reason. She had talent for it.
When did brook tell him that?

Brook was explaining who his shadow was put into at the start of Thriller Bark… Then Zoro showed up to fight Ryuma saying “i heard there was a legendary samurai here. I’m taking that sword”

The reason we dont know why Nami had her dream already at the start of her flashback is the reason we dont know why Zoro did… Its not important

When did brook say anything about him slaying dragons. If he didn't Zoro already heard the nane Ryuma

Zoro used the swords in such silly way no way he was trained as a swordsman, he only beat people with brute strengh.
I see what you mean. Zoro's anime flashback had him challenging other dojos. When he's told he can use any sword he just grabs them all lol. In the manga, I believe the difference is he already fights with two swords and adds the third after he inherits Kuina's Wado. So I think anime focused more on brute strength. Manga focused more on Zoro's interest in the art of swordsmanship. Since this is Oda, Zoro needs 3 swords.
