Good question. We at least seemingly did never experience one. I would be mad if Zoro could not afford awakening.

We had fodders at impel down that used awakening and now beast pirates, who supposed to be strongest zoan users doesnt have it..... I hope King or queen shows this.... otherwise Katakuri was supperior YC to the rest

Oni Giri is a mid-end attack and King got up immediately after, thus it would require multiple high-end attacks for him to go down for good.
