If Shiryu was able to surpass all the original members of the BBPs, and got second ship ? Why cant he surpass Burgess ? Why is BB adamant on keeping Burgess as the captain of the first ship….and his RHM ?
” Buh…Buh…its not position of power”, “Its Loyalty”….then why isnt Shiryu like 5th ship Captain ? How tf did Shiryu get to 2nd ship Captain when we know damn well BB’s original followers are more loyal ?
Blackbeard entrusted Ace’s fruit to Burgess…thats a big deal. He wants Ace to be reborn into Burgess. Burgess is also the BBP whos the most like BB. Like they both always get Ls, until they get rewarded with the Ult W. Blackbeard captured Ace, and Burgess helped found Revo HQ and had the BBPs destroy it.
- Burgess also was handling Base Sabo, making Sabo run away to the Mera Fruit and eat it. Base Sabo is Dragon’s YC1
- Burgess made Koala piss her pants, and had a similar threat lvl to Doffy in Sabo’s eyes.
- All of Base Sabo’s attacks are useless on him, and he cant crush Burgess’s head like he did Vice Admiral Bastille
- Only attacks that do shit to Burgess is the flame fruit attacks
Burgess did this all DFless, once he gets a DF he‘ll be dangerous.

Oden - Shiryu - Captain of the 2nd ship
It's obvious that BB and Shiryu are the anti WB and Oden.
Burgess is the Jack/Cracker of the crew.
Oden was barely a WBP...dude defected. I dont think hes a fair potrayal. He couldve possibly gotten higher if he stayed.
As much as Oda denies it....the number must mean, forgetting Oden the PLs are adjacent to the PLs of the crew. I guess its cause Oden was something he didnt plan pre timeskip, thus this happening.

No , marco was the first division commander, he isnt being replaced because someone stronger came along. Ace was the second division commander and it was implied wb saw him as some sort of successor . In the same token, shiryu joined the bb pirates well after established members like burgess and lafitte.

So do you believe Burgess is strong enough that Shiryu cant overtake him by being alot stronger than him ?

Laffite being Chief of Staff is a speculation from the VC team. The VC said hes "like" the Chief of Staff, and thats just an assumption of the canon.

But that Colourspread doesnt account for Past or Future Crew PLs. If it did, Oden would be there and possibily Kuma, not Marco and Sabo.
And also it would have OP DF Burgess....who is possibly > Invisible Fruit Shiryu. Seriously worse DF option for Shiryu lmao.
