Sooo….rather than wasting time with a “traitor plot” that no one cares about just make Luffy face a real opposition from the get go. We are in the endgame now what the point of this secondary plot?

I mean it is particularly stupid to make Luffy this strong if he gonna job 95% time.

Oda has to make a choice : either Luffy is not as strong as we think or the story as to be less Luffy centric.

Because making Luffy this strong while trying to make him seems like the underdog is ridiculous.

The truth is just that Oda does not know how to deal with powerful characters: this has been made clear with Oden, Big Mom, Mihawk, the admirals and Kaido. The character just kinda forget how strong they are and what abilities they have.
