Salt actually has a use for humans while gold has that value only because man decided it was a precious metal (then now we are using it in circuits and it is better than copper ad a conductor, still it is too precious to actually be used commonly like copper, then I don't know if maybe it has also other important practical applications). Anyway you get my point here lol

Luffy rushed similary against Kaido too but at least he trained after that mistake and learned from it. Kidd never learned from his mistakes. He was even in the same prison cell as Luffy, and I am sure if he humbled himself to Hyogoro and the samurai they would have teached him a thing or two about haki as well.

So what part about Kidd and his crew being more realistic than Luffy and straw hats are we talking about again? And we have known Straw Hats are "fate"/plot driven since chapter one, it literally says "Luffy's voyage of destiny"

salt is less useful than water and so easy to find, yes it is useful but think it should be worth more than any shiny rock is so wrong

Water is actually the most important substance we have, it is necessary. The point is that man decides arbitrarily that a shiny stone has a great value only because it is shiny but it is way better to have something that is actually useful.

I can get all the gold in the world and be considered rich but if you are dying of thirst (in a desert or anywhere else) then all its worth is less than a glass of water.

Water can be useful but is abundant. Simple economics, gold is less important but rarer

It just shows how disconnected from reality Oda really is, because the truth is, there is not a single strong person in this world that is like Shanks. There is not a single strong person that lets people pour drinks on their head and does nothing like a coward. Everyone in real life with shanks personality is a passive weakling that gets bullied.

Strong people are the ones with the same personality as Eustass Kid. People that are hard working, courageous, ambitious and fearless. People that aim for the very top and will do anything to get there, even if that means tossing their morals aside to dominate and climb above others. People that are ready to take on any challenge required no matter how difficult it may be. People that never give up and keep bouncing back after failing. That is what actual strong people are like. That is Eustass Kid. But despite all that, Oda made shanks win because shanks is a nice guy and kid is not, and that makes me want to f*****g vomit
