You must be thinking that Zoro attacking Apoo is more impressive than Sanji attacking Queen cuz it "bLEeD mORe"
There is barely blood here, thats his moustache, Sanji not only did much more damage but Marco wasn't holding Queen and asking Sanji to "give his best shot", it's implied that Chopper couldn't damage Queen by any means in the next chapters. Sanji made Queen bleed much more, you just can't see it clearly cuz it wasn't the main point of the event.

I never said Queen was trash (most likely the opposite) i barely even see Sanji fans saying that, and yes, the difference between them never showed to be a big deal, but the opposite (aside from their personalities and DF powers/fighting style)

King fits Zoro way more than Sanji. Sanji isn't special enough to get the Katakuri, Zoro is (this isn't to bash Sanji). And just because you assume Queen to be slow, that doesn't mean he won't push Sanji's shit in.

Wasn't there legitimate build up for both Sanji vs Queen and Sanji vs King? I don't think it's exactly poor writing since Oda gave hints for both fights. Unfortunately one side of the fandom was going to be disappointed. I say this as someone who 100% supported Sanji vs King. I am still excited to see Sanji vs Queen.

Headcanon, and you're completely ignoring what Queen was doing to Chopper willingly, even with Marco's huge assistance, he even showed to like torture and sadistic games since Udon. King and Queen were being presented as close to each other since their very first introduction, both of them like to clown Jack, both of them are designed to major important tasks, and Queen's feats at the moment are even more impressive cuz he clashed with Big Mom briefly. And Marco also treated them as pretty much equals everytime they were onscreen, King was the one who engaged on Marco first, willingly.

This may make sense if you're comparing Katakuri and Smoothie for example, since Smoothie looks less impressive than Cracker, thats not the case with the Beast Pirates

Nah, he made Sanji fight Queen because he created a connection between them, looking at it more superficially it makes sense Sanji match-up against King (including Marco), aesthetically speaking, than against Queen, atleast for now. That's implying Oda creates fights strictly based off of power, which isn't true. Oda is creating parallels here back to Enies Lobby where Sanji gets beaten up by a woman (then Khalifa, now Black Maria), saved by a woman (then Nami, now Robin), then goes to save weaker SH from stronger opponent (then Ussop via Jyabura, now Chopper via Queen), said stronger opponent gets kicked back as Sanji gives a quote and encouragement (then Ussop, now Chopper of course).

Then, there are also the connections Oda has woven into Queen such as his connection with Judge, and prior statement stating that he should take out the "2 strongest (Sanji; Zolo)".

With these in mind it is unreasonable to say that Oda didn't make Sanji fight King chiefly due to powerlevels, Sanji's physical power, CoO and speed are clearly comparable to King especially with RS.

There were multiple connections being made here, Sanji could have fought King due to their prior interaction and obvious similarities or he could have made Sanji fight Queen due to his Judge connection and similarities with the technological similarities with the Raid Suit.

In any case, besides the namesake of King over the Queen, there is no feats or anything that put King substantially higher than Queen. Going off of feats, and constant portrayal of King and Queen being a duo, they are roughly equal even if King is exactly stronger.
