General & Others Why Oda has Zero consideration to his adult fandom?

Part of that bad writing is him not making Luffy grow up he’s not allowed to because of the target age. I’m really interested about politics and I like to think about One pieces’ throne games in a political way but I can’t imagine a world leader with Luffy’s personality who keeps screaming like an idiot all the time. Even the dumbest dictators in the ME and Africa don’t do this

Wano had panels showcasing old women about to commit suicide, murder of people through ethnic cleansing with the Kurozumi. Orochi burning to death. The story is mature, the writing is just strained because Oda is trying to do so much at once.
Of course a manga sold to teenage boys is going to cater to teenage boys. What, do you want them to put giant robots in Soap Operas?
It's a pirate manga about a kid whose dick can stretch and who asked a skeleton to join his crew without knowing anything about him. Just because Oda isn't writing the manga the way you want him to doesn't mean he isn't taking it seriously.

If it pisses you off that much, drop it and do something else. There are a shit ton of great series out there that you can also watch/read for free (depending on your views on piracy, in some cases). Oda's NOT going to change at this point, no matter how much we complain.

Exactly I still don’t like the hiyori line regarding the Kurozumi despite the clarification from the official translation. It just doesn’t sit right with me and this is why Oda has fallen from grace, he is disrespectful towards the intelligence of his audience and also is ready to sacrifice the quality of his work for stupid puns, jokes, wordplay and to match certain chapter numbers. Like the guy is a literal retard, and because Japanese ppl enjoy such low quality bullshit they won’t complain and our complaining won’t even reach him

But those who were 15 at the time are 30+ now and the modern day 15 years old don’t give a fuck about One piece and are playing dumb MMO’s instead
That’s the thing, Luffy doesn’t want to become a world leader nor is he wanting to grow up to assume such a role but he’s failing his way towards this position anyways because he says some “influential”(loool) lines and beats people up, imagine if I was as dumb as Luffy and made Ukrain and some other east European countries my territory because I beat Putin in a fist fight but I’m a dumbass who can’t even understand the geographical importance of Ukraine, as well as other demographics and circumstances surrounding the area. Or the same just applied elsewhere in the world
That’s not how the world roles, if I go by One pieces’ values then I should be able to do whatever the fuck I want to do without regards to those around me and start wrecking people who I think are bad

Personally the lesson I learned from One piece is that if someone hurt or wronged me or any of my friends I should just go wreck shit even if that person is an authority as long as I’m strong enough to do these things without the worry of facing consequences
