Anyways that statement from Sanji is vague, need to see the raws to know what exactly he said but "What's the deal with this monstrous giant" could imply that he could sense something off between what Loki's actually saying and he's current condition. Could also simply be him trying to to catch up with the current state of tings as he doesn't know all that much about Loki (i.e. a monstrous giant in Loki is suddenly threatening to ruin Elbaf if he isn't set free)
Tryna frame it as Sanji being scared really sums up some of y'all mofos on here

Sanji is such a two-dimensional character, the only 2 things he is scared of is his father and the denial of pussy. Quite pathetic if you think about it, lmao. But even with that said, as much as I dislike Sanji, I cannot claim he is genuinely scared of Loki. If you are a Sanji hater you should take great pleasure in the fact that Sanji will be constantly denied pussy, at least as long as the manga continues lmao. Sanji is a being constantly looking female affection. Therefore, Sanji is a confirmed cuck, evidenced by Oda's ironclad refusal to explore romance during the story.
