Because Jinbei doesn't feel like a Straw Hat!!! He feels like the odd man out among the Straw Hats.

I agree with you Jimbe doesn't fit in for me inside the SH but we can't do anything about it, Oda seemed to have made his mind about that and Jimbe will be a SH.

For colourspreads ,he doesn't use some other SH either. Before the last one he had 2 spreads I think with the same cast except brook who was added to the second one.
He also added him on the one with the band.

He wasn't on the promotional poster now because he wasn't part of a figurine set that was announced in the past(70% sure).

Even though Jinbei is an official Straw Hat, he doesn't fit with the Straw hats. He is not a straw hat material and should had been placed with the GF instead.

I have to accept that he is a Straw hat but I don't have to like it. Everything about Jinbei since FI has been Oda pushing an agenda to include a Fishman into the mix. He finished it and most of the fandom loves it, so he successfully mixed him into Straw hats as far as most OP fans are concerned.

But that doesn't mean I have to like it.

In any case, the original answer also still holds. Jinbei feels odd among Straw Hats in the promos and Colorspreads. Him smiling feels forceful and the interactions seem uncharacteristic or unfitting.

Sorry, no modship in the world is worth pretending over Jinbore, he became so unlikeable and uninteresting at a certain point.

It's not even about my personal disliking; it'd be pretty crazy if the SH lose nothing whatsoever in their journey. And Oda might have been pulling off this whole charade with Jinbore (will he won't he and not fitting in) to soften the blow over his loss like he tends to with other characters. He's the perfect candidate.
