Being a former CD or not shouldn’t mean anything to them

there’s no other reason other than the WG knowing that Doflamingo is not gonna listen to them. Simple as that he has his own plans.

So Doffy would be weak against Gunko because he was beaten by G4 Luffy, but Croc would be unbothered by Gunko because he was beaten by pre-gears Luffy. Top notch logic.
Ok, let's try to use logic.

Doffy was beaten without much problems by G4 Dressrosa Luffy, it is established that Dressrosa Doffy is at best a YC3 (there is a thread quite long discussing this topic and the majority put him at YC3 or even YC4). Now we are dealing with lackeys who are at least a YC1 while the villains are yonko level or even above. Doffy can't do anything here.

But if Doffy actually renters the story somewhat he is gonna get a power jump like what happened with Croco. Oda telling us Croco now has a bounty above YC1s and is somewhat associated with Mihawk is him telling us now he is at least YC1 level or above and that is the only way he can still be relevant to the current story and its powerlevels. That should be your hope if you see Doffy as a dude would be relevant powerwise even now in Elbaf, but Dressrosa Doffy is YC3 at best, deal with that.

Yc3 doesn't even exist in the manga and Oda doesn't care about remaining consistent with the warlords strength

We went through the whole "rubber is the natural counter to your hax logia" moment only for you to still believe that because Luffy beat someone, then they're a fodder.
Not only that, but you use a half chapter of a boots-wearing chick kicking a chained dude to automatically scale her above a fearsome arc villain who had an entire island checkmated.
Yeah, I definitely see you use logic.

Back then it was used quite a lot and it made sense. But if you want we can say that Cracker had for sure better portrayal than Doffy then we can scale from that point. And I agree Oda isn't consistent with the warlords strength but in order to have Doffy made the jump in power he needs to get back in the story and get at least an indicator that he is (far) stronger than before like it happened with Croco. But if he gets back he would get that 110% yet until he doesn't acts again we have only Dressrosa Doffy feats.

Sure, im just saying it's worth remembering.

Dolfomingo wouldn't be useful to them... at least nowhere near how useful Vegapunk York and Prince Loki would be.

Plus... he was already under the command of the WG as a Shichibukai.... sure he likely didn't follow orders but would that change as a GK?

So what are we gonna have next? Raditz vs Darbula? Doffy is from... 4 arcs ago if we exclude Zou and since OP arcs are huge that was at least 10 years ago, it doesn't work like that.

Elbaf villains don't necessary scale above previous arc villains just because of the chronology of their story introduction. Typically, they can, and they do. But we have still yet to see what role the HK have to play, based on which they may not be a threat to the SHs themselves, and therefore won't need to have such a high power ceiling.
Outside of Lucci, what other CP9 member, by their Enies Lobby portrayal, would have been a threat to Alabasta Croc?

Ok, I get what you are saying. Yet it is true that rankwise Alabasta Croco as a shiki was for sure better than any CP9 not called Lucci.. yet powerwise since Alabasta Croco was defeated by gearless Luffy and Luffy absolutely needed the gears to even beat somebody like Blueno... Croco falls short. We can discuss that actually after an hard fight he could have maybe beat Blueno even without gears and say he is still below Alabasta Croco (but we already have to stretch it) yet people like Kaku or the wolf zoan guy are sure as hell stronger than Alabasta Croco. So I get your vision but imo it doesn't work like that, Oda simply readjust stuff without any care for logic if the story needs it like Croco spending weeks/months in prison after gearless Luffy beat him but suddenly he become a relevant player in the Marineford battlefield and be comparable somewhat to that emd of pre time skip Luffy and the other people in his Impel down gang.

Either way, Doffy made the celestial dragons his bitch. That's just a fact
This is about that panel where he says the CDs could do nothing about him? Yet we see fodder CD guards there, if they really wanted to do something they could have just sent an admiral and we saw how fast Aokiji stopped him at Punk Hazard. The holy knights most likely didn't even exist in Oda mind at that point. So, knowing the real WG strength, it is safe to say the CD didn't even try, if it wasn't maybe some fodder CD that sent just fodder guards like in the panel close to Doffy saying the CD could do nothing.

Bro he has blackmail on their darkest secrets. The WG doesn't tolerate that. This is a huge part of the story. They spent time trying to kill him and eventually caved in and decided they would do things for him like send cipher pol to do his propaganda....
Send an admiral? Doffy could just tell them everything.

Oh, ok about that. I thought you were trying to say that Doffy was that strong since even the WG didn't manage to put him down.

The Gorosei literally told Akainu to fuck off, because they were busy doing Doffy's bidding. :milaugh::milaugh:

Akainu asked them how does someone like Doffy "bend the world to his will".

The situation wasn’t as dire. Luffy and the RA recent moves forced the WG hands. It’s not like Doffy wasn’t already in there side. They benefited from Doffy so making him a knight would be pointless
