Why was his message interrupted when we already know the answer, it seems that all what Vegapunk was about to say was
“Among the members of the D clan scattered across the world, there’s another Joy Boy and their name is Monkey D Luffy”
Like we already know that Luffy is Joy Boy so Vegapunk’s message stopping is not Oda hiding something from us the audience but from the characters, namely Luffy’s potential allies like Dragon. Cause if Dragon knew that his son is the key to taking down the WG he would seek him out and make an alliance with the Straw hats before attempting the revolution, instead of heading straight into their inevitable L at the hand of Imu when he whoops his ass so hard and then he dies cause from a narrative standpoint he’d be too strong to have at the final war
And what I hate about Dragon and Shanks’ deaths is that we can easily predict those and both can be prevented by simply having the MC with you at the time of their supposed deaths’
