Questions & Mysteries Why weren't there any Fishwomen in Arlong Park?

#1
What the fuck was Arlong thinking, trying to colonise East Blue without bringing along any Fishwomen, does he realise that his colony was only gonna last a Generation because of that?

He probably also forbade his crew from mixing with Human Women , forcing them to live an Incel lifestyle.

Not a wonder the first thing Hatcha did when he got out was go back to The Grandline to smash that Octopus girl, he spent 8 years without tail thanks To Arlong's No Nut policy

Well, Arlong's group was an offshoot of the larger Sun Pirates, which does have female members.

I really question why there are so many crews with female members given that it's a crude, boys club sort of lifestyle. And why there aren't any actual female samurai as it's a less crude thing.

Female combatants were just very rare in East Blue. Tashigi, Alvida and Nami are the only ones in the first hundred chapters. And Kuina and Bellemere in flashback, I suppose. Alvida was the only woman in her crew, no women in the Red Hairs, Buggy Pirates, Black Cats, Krieg's, Zeff's old crew, the Baratie, the Fishmen Pirates, or the Marines outside of Tashigi.

It was only when we hit Whiskey Peak that Oda started drawing background women as fodder. After that it became a bit more common
