This falls under his aurafarming moments. When Zoro takes over, he's the main man running the show but other than that he's barely a character.
I will say though, his moments with the crew in Elbaf were very natural and I was loving it but the focus turned to the HKs kidnapping the kids and boom just like he fades into the background yet again. He's made a return in the latest chapter though so hopefully he gets more panel time and continues the trend he's shown this arc instead of the trend he's showed the rest of Post-TS
