Character Discussion Why Zoro still remains the Best Straw Hat

I don’t have to imagine it, Mihawk was the one who suggested that Buggy be the captain and Mihawk be the subordinate. Mihawk knows his place in the hierarchy lmfao. Mihawk is also perfectly happy to follow Buggy’s orders and is currently fighting to make Buggy the Pirate King.

Mihawk would never disobey his superior’s direct orders like Waramaki has for 100% of the orders he has been given lmfao. Mihawk has truly accepted his role as a Yonko commander.
It's not Mihawk who is working overtime to please Buggy like twerkbull. Them letting Buggy be fake leader doesn't mean they are his followers. Despite all your barking you can't post single panel proving Mihawk following orders but here we have twerkbull being obedient dog bro is in his forties btw :suresure:

Isn’t it exactly the opposite? All King does is suck off his captain — he doesn’t have any ambition of his own, that’s why he lost. Meanwhile, Zoro remembered that sucking pff his captain isn’t the only thing that drives him — it’s also about becoming the WSS.
Although that is the conclusion Zoro comes to in his fight with King, Zoro throwing away his individualism for Luffy's dream was never set up as a problem anywhere throughout the story, with the exception being in the King fight as well, which makes Zoro's dilemma seem pretty artificial. If there was set up building to this climax, of Zoro losing focus and missing opportunities to get stronger for Luffy's whims throughout the Post-TS, it'd be more organic. Instead, Zoro's resolution of equalizing Luffy's dream with his own is rather hamfisted extremely haphazardly to the point that many don't even catch that Zoro even changed his viewpoint on how he prioritizes his and Luffy's dreams once again, and frankly I can't imagine this really changing how Zoro acts throughout the rest of the story, especially since Obe Piece is in it's Final Saga. It's too little too late.

Oh yeah, most definitely a last-minute bone thrown in with no actual setup. Oda clearly didn’t care and just made that ‘development’ up on the spot. Still, it’s not about who’s going to worship his captain harder (though the fact that Zoro apparently had that issue is kinda sad)

Meanwhile Sanji vs Queen was animated in ms paint for 20 seconds and instead of 10 IJ kicks he needed 30
Sanji vs Queen was solid, actually majority of Sanji vs Queen was better than Zoro vs King, people were trolling because King vs Zoro got the ms PowerPoint treatment but the final episode is where King finally got his respect and in major fashion. They were saving the best for last.

Nah I can't bare Zoro's Luffy glazing. With Nami it is ok for her to glaze Luffy, it doesn't take anything away from her because she is a weakling, in fact those moments add to her character. She is willing to stick up for her captain against stronger opponents, despite being weak.

When Zoro does it I cringe. The final chapter of King vs Zoro is a cringefest, not only with the King of Hell nickname, but also because it became a battle of who can suck off their captain harder, and Zoro showed he sucks his captain off harder than King does, so he prevailed. WSS was a sidegig to this.
As usual , luffy ruins everything he touches
