In Japanese history swordsman have always tested their skills by cutting bamboo. This has a long tradition with samurai


If Zoro was fighting Vergo, cutting his bamboo weapon, this would be a iconic triumph of Zoro’s swordsmanship. Why did Vergo fight Sanji instead? You really think Oda somehow missed a golden symbolic opportunity like this?

Goda don’t miss anything. Goda foreshadowed Vergo will return as Zoro’s opponent

Your panel only shows Zoro has mobility issues

why didn’t Law teleport first the heart, then teleport Vergo away? :watchout:

He could only teleport the heart but that’s not enough as he needs to teleport Vergo also to be safe from Vergo’s blitzes

Law can’t teleport Vergo, it’s that simple

Law didn't know there was people he couldn't teleport until he faced Big Mom and Kaido, so anyone else he faced throughout his life could be teleported. Like Doffy, who we actually see him teleport.

How does he not know? He knows he has awakening, or did that come as a gift from nowhere?

Law only needs to teleport the heart , then teleport Vergo away. Two teleports.

Law was like a music director on rooftop. Luffy and Zoro were instrument in his orchestra he teleportated around. Don’t tell me he can’t do two simple teleports against Vergo

To prove Zoro ain’t fodder, next time he should do attacks that Apoo can’t easily dodge


What’s so great about Zoro’s haki when he can’t break Apoo’s little wooden sticks?


Apoo is fodder, he was running away from a CP0 guy that got killed by Izo. When will Zoro prove he can beat Apoo 1vs1 without cheat?

Why is it even worth Vergo’s time to fight a guy that didn’t prove he can beat Apoo without cheat?

He was told he isnt a swordsman and instantly become better kicker than sanji and fighter than smoker and law

He didint use arms when he fought sanji becouse he didint though about it he saw himself as kicker

When smoker and law used weapon Vergo used bamboo

Vergo really is anything he thinks of at the moment, like a fighting genius

For Sanji, Vergo was living 100% rent free in his head , Vergo was setting up camp in Sanji’s head and building skyscrapers. Sanji didn’t hear the message everyone else heard :usoprice:

You're right, Vergo left as soon as he heard the message. However, he came out of the confrontation as the one who fared better. We could literally see Sanji barely able to put his foot on the ground due to the trembling he was experiencing, all thanks to the fracture that Vergo inflicted on him during the fight.


I would say that Vergo pushed Sanji to such a high-level battle that the surroundings of the fight were not even noticed by Sanji, who was solely focused on the opponent in front of him.

This is facts

Sanji misses a message that is heard by everyone on loudspeaker, Vergo is making his mind work to its fullest mental capacity

The thing is Vergo not only heard message, he was thinking to himself too like he ussually do, he kept only like 5% of hes attention to Sanji tbh

He was spaced out by the fact that he fought Sanji in sanjis style and not in hes own.. he simply didint think how to fight him, that how much of hes attention he gave sanji
