No, Zoro knows what CoC is. He just didn’t know he had it.
if he knows what acoc is, he would know what he has is exactly that...
also who told you wi-if haki is AcoC.
it was basically the exact same as soyboy rope haki which was acoc. they even had the same df negating effect on others.
you think Zoro has seen Mihawk’s best moves?
no. that is precisely my point. he is going off of solely the title.
We see from Rayleigh that you can actually power scale characters without even clashing with them at all
and zoro is not so proficient in coo. there's been no indication that he possesses that ability.
So Zoro having actually fought these guys is enough.
no it is not.
Zoro literally clashes once with s-hawk and says he doesn’t measure up to Mihawk immediately
he was talking about s hawk and mohawk's personality iirc. nothing about their strength.
the reason we know Marineford WB was no longer WSM is because HE SAYS IT HIMSELF. Did you forget this? That WB himself says he is no longer WSM
wb says he cannot be the strongest forever. that is not direct lol. that's vague and can be taken as wb saying he is no longer the wsm or wb saying he cannot be the wsm any longer.
So how come no such thing exists for Mihawk? No one in the entire OP manga has ever doubted Mihawk’s title. Oda himself has never introduced Mihawk in a narrator box saying “he is rumored to be WSS”. And you cannot even use the Kaido argument of Kaido over inflating his own strength because we have very many examples of Mihawk doing the exact opposite.
Cause mohawk has his own version of that.
He has a ton of anti feats and a peculiar lack of portrayal and feats. Which makes anyone other than the zoro fandom question his title's validity.
have you noticed this? Mihawk very regularly puts several characters above himself, all the time. First he says Pirate king is above himself. Then when he goes to Marineford, he doesn’t know that Whitebeard is no longer WSM so he thinks Prime Whitebeard is also above himself. Then in Marineford again when he realizes that he has failed to kill Luffy, he says Luffy has a power that is above his own power, the power to get other stronger people to fight and save his life. Then even recently mihawk tells buggy that he won’t fight 3 Yonko for him so again he power scales 3 Yonko and their entire crews above his own singular power.
Have you noticed that Mihawk is the only character who does this? The only top tier who is very very forthcoming about how weak he himself is. The man literally admits that he can’t even beat Marineford Luffy because he realizes that Luffy has too many allies and that alone is an ability that is above him already.
People ignore how much Mihawk is extremely fair about his own power level because Mihawk also very clearly tells Zoro that he is the TOP OF THE WORLD when it comes to swordsmen too. Mihawk can very blatantly call himself weak so many times but the one time he called himself strong, it was too much. Simply because a certain rat man is also a swordsman so now Mihawk is over inflating his own power level like Kaido does
do you not see the contradiction here?
you yourself said mohawk admits to being inferior to roger and prime beard. and that by extension means he is also weaker than rocks and garp.
So 2 swordsmen who don't have black blades. Yet that very fact is used by the zoro fandom to put mohawk above all of them. And to put mohawk above the rat too.
The same rat who was on equal footing with the same wb that by your own admission, mohawk admitted inferiority to. The same rat who got put alongside roger, rocks and wb by the wsc himself in a rare moment of lucidity for him.
So mohawk views himself inferior to roger, rocks and wb. But people, like the wsc, views the rat on the same level as them. Does that not mean mohawk is basically viewing himself as inferior to the rat?
Also note that the rat has heavy portrayal that paints him as his generation's roger. And that the rat is not the one who stopped fighting mohawk. it was mohawk who stopped fighting the rat. He avoided confronting the rat multiple times in the manga. Note that mohawk is also the one who says "he doesn't wanna settle anything with the rat". Which means either mohawk never won vs the rat, always drew with the rat, or have the same number of wins, the rat has more wins than mohawk, or the rat won their last duel. None of those are good for mohawk's portrayal and his title claim.
Take all this into account and we are left with mohawk's own word's and actions contradicting with his title.
So, it's mohawk's own word against himself. The multiple times you mentioned of him putting people above him, vs the single time he said he was at the top when in comes to swordsmen.
What do you make of that? Do we discard all the instances he dehyped himself, and take the one instance he hyped himself as the complete and only truth? Or do we go the opposite way and discard the one instance he hyped himself and keep all the times he thought himself weaker?
On what merit can you choose the former? Cause that means he has been lying the whole time. So his one instance of hyping himself would also be under scrutiny for being just a lie. Where as in the latter scenario, he has been telling the truth the whole time, and merely lied once. That isn't as egregious and is much more easy to believe than the other scenario isn't it?
