What is the switch exactly ?
Manga : Mihawk is WSS; Shanks is a has-been; Mihawk will stay at the top waiting for Zoro
You : Mihawk is fake he never beat Shanks.
How did you conclude this ? I'm geniuenely confused.
If anything, after all what has been said and repeated for 1100 chapters, you should conclude that Mihawk did infact beat Shanks at some point or at least was equal with two armed Shanks right ?

and the manga panels you posted do not say “Mihawk is unable to defeat Shanks”
They last fought each other 12 years ago. Aren’t you talking about the current Day? Aren’t you talking about Yonko shanks? Yonko shanks is stronger than 1 billion berry shanks from chapter 1 isn’t he?
well, there is no statement that Yonko shanks, current day shanks, cannot be defeated by Mihawk. However there is a statement that Yonko shanks, current day 4 billion berry shanks is inferior to Current day Mihawk’s swordsmanship.
And of course there’s Mihawk’s own statement that current day Shanks is a has-been that’s not worth his time anymore. But I bet you don’t think this statement matters.

no it doesnt, cause shanks has shown on every occasion that statement was bs. starting with his heaven split clash w/ WB, stopped Kaido, stopped Akainu the day after, Wifi diffed GB, absolutely destroyed Kidd... not to mention Shanks rolled up to MF solo at the stat then called out the entirety of the Marines side which housed lihawk and he was the first to bail, not only that but Teach bailed as well...

lol i dont need to prove anything lihawk will eventually have to prove his title same way WB & Kaido have. but Shanks alone was comparable to Joyboy in terms of raw haki, this was stated by two legends who have been near all the top tiers...
& vivre cards are ever changing, but funny Shanks is Lihawks standard base that any future opponent needs to be and guess what he hasnt found one.. Shanks top 1.

The next chapters may show him to be less delusional than we think, especially if Kaido actually saw Imu in action.
