Powers & Abilities Will guns show any relevance in EoS?

It's strange how those guys use their guns to fight when they've shown to be useless against most DF and CoA users.

They're not some east blue rookies so this begs the question, are there more than meets the eye about guns in One Piece and will they show any relevance in EoS?

Do these even work against top tiers?

Guns are dedliest weapon of this manga.

Guns are mainly used as finishers, I think.

They can be pretty lethal when Oda wants them to be.

There is a Reason Luffy's Signature Attack is called "Pistol" & his entire Fighting Style is based on it,
Guns are just there as an Alternative to Punches,

There is Nothing that Luffy's Punch can do that a Gun can't,
Stretching? Guns are Ranged Weapons too
Gear 2? Guns have Firing/Attack Speed too
Gear 3? You can Load Bigger & Heavier Bullets too
Haki? You can Coat your Bullets in any Haki you want
Special Effects? You can pick Different Ammunition depending on your needs
... etc

The difference however is that you're not using your Body, you're instead relying on your Weapon to do the Work for you,
So those who Use Guns are basically just Martial Artists who don't require much Stamina alongside other Advantages,

Those who aren't Snipers or Gunmen can still Use Guns sometimes due to their Usefulness, but the Full Benefit only comes if you make it your Main Fighting Style,

We saw imu using guns so yeah they can be used at the top level, its all about the plot and who use them

My opinion always was instead of Snipers Oda should have created Gunslingers as a role in the story. Snipers are pretty much irrelevant outside the three snipers Oda created early in the story so he can't abandon the role completely. Gunslingers would have been much more interesting, and the role makes way more sense than snipers.

The only issue with guns is that most characters are faster than bullets.

Yasopp could nuke a ship with a shot.

And he by default is an inferior version to Beckman and not a top tier. We also know that you can use abstract ammunition, like Mr. 5 when he loaded his gun with explosive air.

So a Top Tier with top tier ACoC could do some serious damage with a gun. Especially when he combines it with the right physical ammunition.

This. We literally see haki-imbued arrows in Amazon Lily, why bullets couldn't be too? That's probably why Yasopp's bullet exploded like a bomb in Bartolomeo's ship (the better the haki, the more powerful the damage will be).

In the official game like OPBR, despite having a gun, Benn Beckman normal attack is him using the gun like a baseball bat, but one of his skill is him shooting the gun with seemingly AdvCoC haki. In the game, I believe Yassop didn't show any haki like Benn, only long range attack. Still no Lucky roo on the game, but I bet he is like Queen but the difference is he use regular size weapon like Sword, Riffle or guns, and even Box

It's strange that the 3 top commanders of Shanks are all gunman
