Kid's a 3 billion berrie man. He's not losing to whatever giants are on Elbalf even if they have some incredibly impressive ones. I don't think Loki or any other giant will be stronger than Oden but I expect big things from Elbalf.
The plan was for Zoro to round up the samurais.
Not gonna lie, first time Ashura Doji appeared along with his gang, I thought they were already Zoro's men whom he gathered off panel when Luffy was still in Zou. I thought there was a reason Ashura and Zoro didn't meet at all during Ashura's debut, and that was for "Ashura and gang have been Zoro's boys all along" twist. But that didn't happened. The recruiting of samurais and yakuzas didn't really happen until Golden Boy arrival.
Franky said he gonna work on anti Kaido weapons and it's forgotten too.
Bold: yeah different context.
If you want more examples: Law didn't betray Ceasar and Vergo until Straw Hats came, Tontattas didn't attack Doflamingo until Straw Hats came, Hody Jones didn't rebel until Straw Hats came.
It is as if: the big plot won't start until Straw Hats came.
Same thing will happen again here: important plots on Elbaf won't advance by Kidd alone. To stall the plot, Kidd will get captured and locked instead.

Tell me you suck Kidd's dick without actually telling me about it.
My point is that the plan wasn't for Zoro and Law start fighting until Luffy came. Zoro not recruiting anyone sucks but the most important was for him not fight without Luffy. Thats what my comment is about.
And you are really trying to say One Piece World is dead when protagonist is not around? We had nations rebeling because of Sabo incident. We have the incident that granted Koby the Hero title. We had the war between Teach and WB remainers. There is a lot going on at One Piece world that Luffy us not involved. The way you talk you seem like we had to have Strawhats coming to an island and literally nothing interesting his happening there.
