There's still the theory Elbaf will welcome Kid for being part of those who defeated BM, but yeah.. kinda hard to believe after what Dorry and Broggy did lol

Kid was Luffy's rival-ally in Sabondy AND Wano. Repeating the dynamic a third time serves no purpose, it's already stale. And Kid has no potential to become an actual rival, considering Luffy had already surpassed him BEFORE this chapter.

All of this without even listing all the characters, plotpoints, lore dives Elbaf is supposed to touch upon. Yet one more crew of subpar Luffy foils is unnecessary.

What exact plot points again? Usopp? Yeah he can still have his character arc then. Saul? You mean the guy Kid hinted at existing before anyone? Oh you mean Big Mom? The lady who swore to get revenge on Kid?

there’s nothing stopping Kid from having his arc on Elbaf. If anything the fact that this mirrors chapter 513 shows that this will be a low point before a comeback for Kid, just like the SHs before
