Do you think in upcoming chapters Kizaru will awaken his devil fruit ?
Will he be able to fight g5 on equal ground for some without awakening ? I don't think he can honestly he needs another sources of power in my opinion.
Imo he could fight without it, but doesn’t mean necessarily he could overwhelm Luffy nor win so yeah he is gonna use it if he has awakening which is the most likely scenario.
