• Kaido and Big Mom had territories
• Military power and treasures
• Road (of paramount importance to Luffy)
• Kaido dominated a crucial point for the coming of Joyboy and any other subplot that Wano still holds for future events; having one of Luffy's allies ruling this location is beneficial for him.

Kizaru:

• I have nothing to offer.
• I don't contribute anything to Luffy's pirate career.
• My objective is to be kicked, and that's it, to validate that Luffy or Zoro are capable of defeating an admiral at this point.

The big player here is Saturn, who is more important than Kizaru and certainly adds more to Luffy; for example, Saturn can be used as a bargaining chip, can say things that only he knows, imagine the Revolutionaries with Saturn captured.
Kizaru is just a Hody. Lmao

If he shows good stuff, he will be praised.
If he disappoints, no praise will come other than what he deserves.
I know how the masses will treat him - Yc1 because Zoro one-shotted him.
If somehow he ends up Luffy's opponent, which I think is impossible, and fails to beat him, his power as swordsman will be questioned.

Or maybe swordsmen arent the end all be all and will beat everybody? Perhaps you could question your stance as well and also maybe elevate Luffy.

He will be downgraded to yc1. Even if zoro dont get to finish kizaru oda had that habit to have zoro win the exchange against main arc villains and overcome their greatest asset (asura vs kaido, zoro vs hody inside water). At the very least the same will repeat with kizaru just this time zoro will be fine, zoro will flex his master swordsman skill and counter most of kizaru's attack,cut his light body drawing blood and win their exchange showing clear superiority whitout going all out either.

Kizaru was never set as a goal for Luffy to defeat. Kizaru winning against the tired Straw Hat Pirates after they barely defeated a Pacifista does not make him a target for Luffy. Luffy made it very clear that the Yonkous were in his sights as long as the first one wasn't Shanks. The admirals are only taken into consideration by Luffy when they obstruct his path, which is different from Luffy actively pursuing the Yonkous.

It’s not a character trashing Kizaru, but rather Zoro fans, in short when Zoro doesn’t face Kizaru are they gonna trash him or not calling him out and what not and claiming Zoro is stronger than him and how lucky he is not facing Zoro just like Kaido and the rest of Luffy’s opponents.

Did you read Luffy's statement to Fujitora in Dressrosa? It's not about surpassing all of them through battles, because Luffy won't do that. It's about becoming strong enough to be capable of defeating all of them. It doesn't mean that Kizaru suddenly became a target for Luffy. If Kizaru wasn't at EGG, Luffy would never go after him unless, of course, Kizaru gets in Luffy's way.

But that's situational, you see? It's not Luffy who pursues the admirals; it's the admirals who pursue Luffy. Luffy's goal is to take down the Emperors, but Luffy has already established that he intends to be strong enough to defeat whoever stands in his way. However, his true goal is indeed to bring down the Emperors, as he mentioned in Punk Hazard.

So the probability of Luffy getting involved with the Yonkous previously was higher than Luffy coming into conflict with an admiral, given that he had the Emperors as his goal. After all, Luffy also believes that the Emperors are the most frightening things in the world – if you don't fear them, you shouldn't fear anything else in this world.
