Genuine question, have there really been Zoro fans downplaying Kizaru?
I find it extremely hard to believe he defeats him in this arc, clash maybe

most folks who favor an antagonist would want them "wasted" on luffy .
it is the best spotlight any antagonist can get
the others get 2 to 3 focal chapters at best and barely get the chance to show anything.

Only because Loda is too obsessed with goofy there is no reason why Kizaru shouldn’t be able to get plenty of spotlight if he faced Zoro. He rushed Zoro and Sanji fights only to bore us us death with lame chapters against Kaido that were repetitive. You know G5 exists I don’t think Kizaru getting toyed with by toon forces would be all that interesting

Since Kizaru is the strongest fighter on the opposing side it’s no brainer Luffy gonna fight him. He is my MC as much as he is yours and everyone reading OP lol. Akainu is not here so he is reserved for a future arc.

Not sure he is with Saturn presence on egghead Kizaru. Loda recently hyped the gorosei revealing they all possess some type of mythical zoan abilities and are clearly fighters. Following his own formula Saturn should be going up against Luffy. Kizaru is the subordinate here but he was already making excuses to let Saturn sit this out in the last chapter
Loda is going with the most boring option yet again

yeah oda gives luffy a large amount of attention and since we all know that isnt changingm but that also translates to who he fights . you just have to look at the contrast between kaido and big mom in wano simply based on who they fought. the things they were allowed to do and these characters were supposedly on a similar plane. its night and day.


toon force didnt diminish how impressive kaido was and if kizaru is going to be taken down there is no better showcase/spotlight than against luffy. anyone who likes kizaru a lot would rather have him going down now as a main arc villain to "messiah luffy" as opposed to being one of the fights on the side against any of the wings, sabo , law etc . luffy's villains are just shown to be more complete.

A wild thought that it’s even considered out of box that no one could ever see it coming that Kizaru magically is in fact a versatile type fighter!!! And he is simply not a swordsman.

I think it is a wilder thought that a non-swordsman matches, blow for blow, one of the strongest swordsmen of all times.

Or maybe swordsmen arent the end all be all and will beat everybody? Perhaps you could question your stance as well and also maybe elevate Luffy.

Oda made sure to make into a swordsman every single big shot except Kaido. The story is literally about swordsmen...
And he cemented cutting type of damage as Luffy's one and only weakness.
And keeps repeating the fact that in each fight he gets beaten up a lot.
So anyone is welcome to try the mental gymnastics of Luffy being beaten up a swordsman and still winning.

He already confirmed? More like you guys confirmed it as soon as we got the info that Kizaru was coming this arc. Pure headcanon. It’s sad that you guys do it on a regular basis and when Oda shatter your dreams the Oda hate starts cuz he didn’t make your dreams come true .

It does not matter if kizaru is top tier swordsman or not. Does Sun god nika even has to fear anybody, when even gorosei are afraid of him. Even pre-G5 luffy has defeated cracker who weilded a powerful meito. And pre-Ts luffy already survived focused mihawks attack.
I say let kizaru fight luffy and we will see how the great swordsman will get clowned.

he isn’t a pirate. He is a marine that’s his job and gets paid for so it’s not like Kizaru gonna be fuck it I’m gonna quit. Tho I get it I prefer Oda having Luffy fight Kizaru and shows they are equal neck to neck just for recognition of Luffy’s emperor status and that’s it. An admiral’s defeat is both good and bad, but gotta wait and see how Oda play it out.

We didnt confirm anything, Oda did by making Kizaru match the Dark King, blow for blow.
Funny how you project your headcanons onto Zoribros, it is yall who jumped onto Kizaru as soon as yall found out he is the one coming to Egghead while before Egghead yall never mentioned him and always talked about Akainu.

Untill awakening is confirmed serious kizaru is him using a lightsaber, kuzan using ice glove and akainu using meigu. Anything else is headcannon.

Nah, you mis read the original post. It’s not a character trashing Kizaru, but rather Zoro fans, in short when Zoro doesn’t face Kizaru are they gonna trash him or not calling him out and what not and claiming Zoro is stronger than him and how lucky he is not facing Zoro just like Kaido and the rest of Luffy’s opponents.

I don't think that question only has one answer.

Some Zoro fans will give Kizaru his due credits, some won't. I feel like this is true for every fandom, though.

Yeah, but what’s the most famous for trashing Luffy’s main arc villain? You don’t see Sanji fans, Law fans or any other fandom doing it as much as they do just do elevate their fav. Either way I made this thread for fun and giggle and see the response of the community.
