Well i dont think Zoro will be WSM since he will be WSS, and narratively Luffy as PK should always have contender or else Luffy will have no struggle. Law is naturally Luffy's close competitor in that aspect. He's not Luffy's official underling as well, so he can be that frienemy kind of rival...like he already is currently.

And powerscaling-wise, he has shown worthy strength as well. He didnt need any healing, not even meal, to endure a fight against two Emperors consecutively, and even become the guarantee of victory against an Emperor who previously fought less amount of battle than Kaidou. He cut fire-lightning fusion - which was an attack stronger than Big Mom's participation of Hakai, so stronger than half of Hakai - without even any fire-cutting technique or a superior sword, and using a small remain of his strength/stamina.

Tldr imo Law is worthy to be the next WSM since his portrayal and powerscaling favor it even more than how Zoro is fit to be the future WSS.

Didnt expect this reply from you, do you think its necessary for Law to be WSS if he wanna be WSM, because he has a sword in his hand? I dont think Law is WSS material since he's such a DF-oriented fighter, but i dont think he has to get WSS as a milestone either to be WSM.
