Questions & Mysteries Will Mihawk do anything other than lose to Zoro

You sure are an unimaginative lot. There are countless of ways by which Oda can make his character more important: he can be related (in any sort of way) to IMU or the elders, he can be part of an important family, he might know stuff from the void century ecc.
I doubt that Oda won’t connect him to any of the several plot lines reserved for EOS.

i want to hear his soliloquy.. his sentiments after it.. a flashback to his past would be dope.. i just want The WSS be dethroned in the most respectful manner possible..

as for what he will do after that.. idk.. go back to his town and live his life in a dojo after the final war or even marry someone

before the war.. meet up with Shanks.. or whatever oda wants to do with Mihawk.. whether to fight for Luffy and his cause.. idk

Who is left for Mihawk to fight? Admirals are clearly being kept for the final war, BB needs his conclusion with Shanks, the Gorosei will be defeated by Luffy and Co.

Mihawk will fight Zoro and that's it.

I am not yet decided on how to feel about that, I need to see the execution of it.

Then oda should add more to mihawks purpose in the story
Like the yonko, admirals, etc. They are more than just goal post to just be defeated. They have initiative, they have goals, they have more to do than just waiting to lose

Crocodile and buggy lowkey saved mihawk and gave him an actual bigger role and ambition in the story than he initially had

First he hoped on crocodiles utopia plan and now they’ll go after the one piece because of buggy

He never necessarily needed a massive fight pre zoro he just needed to do something to actually get him involved in the story/world. Joining cross guild is that thing

Cross Guild will go to Impel Down to recruit some members and at the end Mihawk will destroy Impel Down with an advanced Conqueror's Haki slash that cuts Impel Down straight down the middle all the way through.

I assume this was before the Cross Guild chapters came out, right? So he did do something before fighting Zoro, 2v1'ed Buggy with Crocodile, talked a bit, got scared and sweated a bit and thats it

Every character that has those eyes were either immortal and/or very old, couple that with the fact that mihawk's whole theme is around vampires/goth stuff, i wouldn't put it past oda to do it.
