No matter what happens, even if the ending was perfect from a storytelling point of view, people would come out to complain about it regardless because everyone has certain expectations for it. You can't please everyone.

I'm going to say it now: The ending will feel rushed for a lot of people, even if it is conclusive and satisfactory.

They were right. FMAB had a mid ending. The original anime ending was far more on the ball with the central theme of the series.

The manga/FMAB was just convenience.

Yeah and imo it's more of a people problem than the major series' problem.
It's the same as the "the sequel is always worse" people. It's just a common human trait, and it will never change.

I agree with you, it gets to a point where you ask whether it’s that hard to have a fitting end to your story or will ppl be unsatisfied no matter what happens, can’t please everyone it’s impossible.
