No because going to another Yonkos territory is a direct confrontation and Oda stated before in the series that it’s something that doesn’t happen

it’s why Shanks is always trying to catch BB on the move and not just sail to his base

kuzan will indeed fight on shanks' side but i think the fight will happen on elbaf, not on pirate island. shanks will go back to elbaf, meet luffy, then suddenly bbp+kid will invade the island.

I doubt that Shanks would want to face BB in his own turf. At most, I think that he'll face him on neutral grounds... but he made it clear on Wano that he wants to take him by surprise, if possible.

Even if Shanks is stronger than BB and capable of defeating him head-on, it's wise to have an advantage and minimize the losses. The only Yonko who doesn't do that is Luffy. lol (Considering the current Yonko.)

As others have said, Shanks won't wage a head on war at Blackbeard's home, this just isn't a thing characters do.

Idk where fans are getting this idea that Yonko can just stroll into weaker one's territory and bitch slap him, but it just never happened.

If Shanks was willing to do that, he had an entire year to do so. But right now, he's forced to wait to catch Blackbeard, meanwhile, Teach's power is growing more and more.

Aokiji is still extremely fishy, that panel of him with the BB pirates in front of him (after Garp was defeated) which almost perfectly mirrored Akainu with the WB pirates is somewhat a reminder. Anyway imo Aokiji has a plan, but we don't know if it is actually to just fuck up BB at the best moment (and so he could actually ally with Shanks if he comes to fight BB) or if he has another kind of plan like discover what BB is planning, what his true cards are or attack BB just if and when he attacks the WG/navy (and maybe stage a pincer attack with Akainu or whoever BB will be fighting in that situation). It could even be that even if it is Shanks attacking BB Aokiji would still not help because maybe BB has some hidden card which puts him above Shanks and maybe even above Shanks and Aokiji combined (godly moon df aka the yami, a third non revealed df, the secret of how he can eat multiple df which could also give him other perks, his links with Xebec..).

But the main problem here imo is Shanks. Oda will not make Shanks go randomly to BB. He had all the time in the world to do that and also when BB was far weaker (he only had the yami and hus crew was still basic, the BB who just betrayed WB in other words). Oda will eventually reserve that event (Shanks attacking BB) when the situation is ripe with Luffy coming to help just to finally met a dying Shanks and fulfill his promise to give him back the hat (just to retake it since Shanks is dead and he has to pass it to the next gen).

Been years that Shanks ''has been looking'' for Teach
Way weaker people tried and found him in days but the Yonko Shanks can't for two years somehow...and I'm supposed to believe Shanks is really looking for BB ?
