We know this pattern, perhaps it will be similar to WB and Oda did it on purpose.

WB fought all his enemies and was at the end finished by Teach's pistol.

Then Teach stole WB's power.

Perhaps Oda will follow a similar pattern here.

Imu will fight a lot of people, and will be weakened.

Then Teach will show up and finish him with a pistol.

Because Xebec showed up with a pistol vs Imu and said he will return.

Interesting.

Teach killed Newgate with a Pistol, then stole his Fruit.

Imu blew off Broggy's hand with a Shotgun, then stole his body.

I'd really like it if Luffy beat Imu, but Teach killed Imu. Like, Luffy does something stupid, and let's Imu escape.

Imu's about to make it; then we see a knife fly out from their chest, and see Teach, dying, too, laughing.

"I will... fulfill... Father's Will... AND KILL YOU, CELESTIAL DRAGON SCUM!"

I could see a Teach Darth Vader esque moment, too, where he gives himself up to save Luffy, to make up for his sins.
