No... they didn’t suddenly make up a unite within the marines without any marines involved... it’s obviously set up long ago. Drake went there to join Kaido two years ago... it was clearly planned out by higher ups of the marines aka Sengoku back in the day.

Well, Sengoku didn't like Akainu (he likes Kuzan) so this make this group a whole different.

That's not even the least of their issues. Something leaked from the Reverie that is causing the world to go crazy, stretching the Marines thin and causing Blackbeard to go after it. It was confirmed to involve Alabasta and I'm like 95% sure it's Pluton's location
