From what we know about his works on the Pacifistas and on artificial devil fruits t is obvious that Vegapunk is trying to create and fully replicate devil fruits and their powers though he has been only partially sucessful so far and that Caesar and Judge haven't been better in their attempts either.

However do you think that it's possible that by the end of One Piece Vegapunk will manage to reach his goal and to fully replicate devil fruits and the powers they give ?

No I don't think so. I think the best of his work will managed to replicate perfectly standart attack of certains Devil fruits but I don't think he will ever replicate te most complexe things like awakening for exemple.

It should already be extra hard to replicate powers like shadow powers or soul powers.

I think DF are the purest form of the power and no techs can completely reach that level.

Definitely, he is already working on that and since DFs are made of chemicals he can replicate those exact ones but there's one problem aka the re-pamming effect post user death who cares tho

I don't think so as that would be to op. Imagine a entire fleets sailing around with akainu fuji and kizaru dfs...no one would stand a chance against them unless oda makes a god tier.

I think Vegapunk just did not want to reiterate the feat and give an enormous adavntage to Marines.
