Current Events Will Yamato actually get captured by the Flying Six ?

#21
I'm still a bit skeptical about Yamato's intentions
No matter how Oda is trying to convince us that she is an ally, there is still something about her that doesn't feel right

Being introduced so late in the arc, suddenly we have a Kaido daughter and guess what she is an Oden fan pretending to be him :whitepress:
It could be just Oda's bad writing

On topic, I'm not sure what the flying six capturing her would add either way since we have a lot going on right now and the fights already started
What's exactly so wrong with Yamato wanting to be Oden or like him? Kids are impressionable.

What's wrong with people who want a new character to be a breath of fresh air?

I would personally like Yamato if she finds her own goal and doesn't act as she's someone else.

I generally find characters like Yamato ( right now at least ) boring as fuck. Wanting to achieve something that's been already achieved is nothing to be ashamed off but she basically said she wants to become Kozuki Oden.

Let this man die for God's sake.

Becoming Oden is an Ideal for her because it means Freedom, It's an ideology. Like Pirate King is for Luffy. If you replace Oden Kozuki with Pirate King, it's the same thing in the end. Becoming Oden Kozuki; Becoming Pirate King, Sure there's differences but that's just nitpicky.

I hope Luffy will get into her head.

She seems to want to join Luffy's crew on behalf of seeing the outside world but it stinks with Oden's plot.

He told her that she should be herself or some shit like there was only one Oden right?

Maybe she will abandon this shit and became the one and only Yamato. That would be dope at least for me.

Let Oden's legend die with the end of this arc tbh.

I just don't understand exactly. If being herself is being Oden or being Oden like, there's no problem?
At this point we just don't know enough about her, her her. Than anything else, but just the ideal she's trying to live by, that's been ingrained into her for 20 years. It's like a life habit, you can't just throw it away, it's hard to break.

What if it comes down to her Still wanting to wear guy clothes, if that matters, seeking freedom for herself, but also a new goal whatever it is....

TBH I find her to be something new, in the grand scheme of things. But likewise if she can embody both how she is and who she can/would have been without being impressionable as a kid as Oden. That should still be good.

Starting to think the capture Yamato was a plot device to both characterize and then separate them so they aren't grouped up together as a fighting force.
