Theoretically, you don't have to be the absolutely strongest swordsman to be able to beat everybody else.
Multiple variables like the condition of the fights during the battle, different sword styles that are good against some, bad against others, a fluke during the fight, so on.
Will he be acquire the title of WSS? Yes. Does it mean he CAN defeat all the others swordsman in the world? Yes. Does it mean he can also be defeated by someone that isn't the WSS? Yes.
Does One Piece have these nuances? I don't feel like it does. At least when it comes to sword fights. Luffy used the water against Croc, Enel had the rubber counter. But Zoro? He gets a new technique and just brute force his way to the win. No shenanigans.

I mean if you are saying it’s 10/10 fight situation then Mihawk has to be at minimums the person who wins 6/10 fights with any swordsman. Mihawk is definitively the strongest so there cannot be a 5/10 chance or else that means someone else is exactly as strong as him

Zoro has to be that, he wins AT MINIMUM 6/10 fights against any swordsman on the planet

Zoro Wank is out of Control

its weird, saying Zoro will accomplish his dream is now Wank to some people

it’s so weird. If I say Usopp will become a brace warrior, am I wanking him? No. Because power levels aren’t involved

Zoro says he will stronger than ALL YOUR FAVOURITE SWORDSMEN, and that sucks so much that people want Zoro to drop his dream or it’s revealed his dream is impossible or his dream is fraudulent

anything is better than Zoro accomplishing his dream

Think like this. What happens if Zoro beats Mihawk once? Does he get the title of they need to fight a best of 3? There's nothing saying they can't fight for the title on multiple ocasions. Shanks and Mihawks had several duels. But then again you have people that might never even get the chance to duel the WSS. Vista first fought Mihawk during the MF war. And it's not like Vista is a fodder swordsman.
Mihawk wanted to "see the gap between him and Whitebeard", like he never saw the dude once during his life. One Piece world is a big place. You don't have to be in a scenario where you win 60% of the time. You win once and get the title. You keep it until you die or someone else beat you once. You can get it back later if you win again.

Is Zoro stronger thsn Cabaji after fighting him once? Yes. Is he stronger than Hachi, Ohm, Kaku, Ryuma, Tashigi, Tbone, Daz, Hyouzo Pica Killer?

In fact, whose to say Mihawk was stronger than Zoro after beating him. I mean thry only fough one time.

See, the story creates a mechanic for progression. To progress Zoro’s dream, the mechanic is simply “Beat the opposing swordsman”. For 1000 chapters, oda has written in the specifuc shorthand that Zoro is stronger when he wins the fights.

this isnt true for all characters. Usopp isnt stronger than Chu just because he won the fight. Thats because Usopp winning fights means something completely different from Zoro winning. Because fights thrmselves mean something different to both characters

So your reasoning about “best 2 out of 3” can work for people except Zoro. Because no one else fights for the same reaaon as Zoro and no one else’s wins mean the ssme thing as Zoro. For example, Luffy beat Katakuri by out willing him. This means jack shit to Zoro. Hell Zoro would rather go until he gets knocked out than “win by out willing”.

So because of 1000 chapters of the story telling us “The swordsman who wins is stronger” when it comes to Zoro, then i expect thats how it will go to the end of series. The swordsman who can beat everyone else is the strongest of all swordsmen
