WITCHRIV

Yup witch hat atelier is so far. In april, next season, the anime will finally debut. It was already announced over 1 year ago, but until 2 months ago or so we had no clue when it will air.
Ah I see, thats nice, didn’t know that. I once started with the manga but had not the time to read further so I wanted to reread and continue with it but maybe I will wait for the anime.

More and more shifting towards the new dawn of the manga industry, with more fantasy, mystery and slice of life.
Finally, the last years we got too much isekai animes, some of them were nice but it’s time to see that some other fantasy mangas got an anime adaption or mystery and slice of life and romance like you said.

Aye Amo <\3 I am an anime only, but she and Guita are already like daughters to me. Love them alot.
Oh yeah Guita is also a really nice character. I didn’t have time to watch the anime til the end now (still some episodes are left, I want to watch them when I have time), did they confirm a second season?

I'm on my phone, so let me just put the whole answer under the spoiler for the sake of others.
I like you theory on Raloud and Belator! I also thought Belator was responsible for Raloud's parents death somehow, either directly or indirectly. And then yes, he got crushed by guilt and took in Raloud, but it's very difficult for them, and Belator has to manage somehow Raloud's need to use magic, while keeping it a secret that the boy is a mage. I also think that Belator knows a lot about Quovelta, but doesn't have a direct link (so Raloud's parent/s may not be involved at all).

>>>It also looks like the Bureau of Magic hides the fact that they use magic with the help of magic tools from civilians?

Yes, absolutely agree. Bureau uses a hell lot of magic and reminds me of Soviet NKVD, like we use everything we persecute for. And lock witch seems like an inhumane experiment, they managed to retain magic and break the will, but at the cost of life of the mage. I suspect there's either a different type of magic like curses and Bureau has those mages (think like JJK has sorcerers and curses, or like in Mistborn you have allomancy and heruchemy (hope I didn't mess up the names tho).
I think you are right with Belator that he knows a lot of Quovelta, maybe he is searching them? Maybe he searchs them so that Raloud can join them?

But I also believe that he could die in this arc, maybe thought his former student/comrade?

To the Bureau maybe at one point some civilians will rebel against them?

The idea with the lock witch could be true some kind of inhuman experiments would make most sense at this point.

If this is some kind of curse, then maybe a Witch cursed them? Curses are more like the skills of witches right?
Oh I really like the beginning and build up of shonens/fantasy mangas, makes more fun to read and write about it than about mangas who have over 500 chapters or so.

Its not called WitchRiv Hence why we all can't search it since Official English is Nowhere only Official Raw, but this is Fan Translations. Its called メリリララリリ
Thx for the link :)
The oneshot was different and more dark. I wonder if Danka will also appear in the manga?

This series immediately hooked me. It has a better start than anything weekly shonen jump has put out in the last few years. I'm loving the stroy, art and the characters.
Same, Witchriv and Shinobi Undercover are the two mangas which hooked me since chapter 1. Both are among my favorite new mangas. In both cases I like the story, characters and the art style of both mangas are really great.

Ichi the Witch is also nice.

I think Ichi had a great first chapter thrb fell off for a while, tha last 2 arc have been amazing and have really drawn me in to the series and I'm loving it now.

Shinobi Undercover ....I've decided its just not for me. While the art os truly amazing thats where my praise ends for the series. I really could care less about the characters, they just dont do anything for me, the plot is meh, and the fights are fine, I guess.

Witchriv tho....has hooked me since the first chapter. The characters nar interesting and layered. The plot is intriguing and so are the character motivations. The art is among the best I've seen recently as well.
