@God_Aizen a new chapter dropped! https://mangaplus.shueisha.co.jp/viewer/1028383

Damn, you were right, Gheer might still get a redemption arc!

BUT

After his flashback, I dislike him EVEN MORE. Like bro, you had such a good lil brother who literally saved you from death and you just betrayed him? For what? Whoring around in the clubs? You of all people should've recognised Raloud's worth! Ah, so insufferable.

I also liked the artistic choices in this chapter, seeing the mirror throughout the flashback, and then it becoming a Chekhov's gun was really cool. Mad respect to the mangaka!

I agree
Kaiju 8 disappointed me a lot....
Somehow the anime is still in hype lol
Sakamoto Days started good, but later it was boring
I never was a fan of OPM because the designs are great but yeah like the name describes it, it's a one shot manga xD
Yep, and I also really liked the idea of MC being in his 30's, we have so many kind of coming-of-age + save the world stories for teens, seemed nice to have an older MC for a change.
SD still looks good, but the plot is nonsense.

I agree here too
I loved Naruto until the Pain arc and Kage arc and Bleach was the best until Aizens fall.
OP pre TS is also OP best times.

FT was also at his best until the Tartaros arc (even if I still like the S12 and parts of the final arc)
Yeah, later parts of FT were meh.... so we're fully aligned that even the greatest mangas should probably end sooner, while they're still peak :)

Rave :amazing::blush: still one of the best shonens I have read.

Same with FMA :amazing:
So much yes! I'm thinking of re-reading the two. Such great stories, difficult to top with the recent ones, and especially in AI slop era.

Oh a lot of I am reading too ^^

- OP because yeah I read/watch it since my childhood days and to write about it with others can be fun sometimes^^
- FT 100YQ is imo not so bad, imo most shonens are the same. But the difference for me is that in FT you can see other characters and the enemies especially the servants are good. Something I miss in most other shonens like OP. Thats one of the things I really like about FT and FT100YQ even if some fights and arcs are boring, etc.
- Sakamoto Day I read the manga but I am not up to date because it starts to boring me :/
- Black Clover same reasons, I think only 3-4 chapters are left right?
- Dead Rock, like it too but imo it should be a weekly manga. But I think Mashima doesn't have the time for that because he works on his new manga.
-Daemons of the Shadow Realm is that the new manga of the FMA author?
- Spy x Family it's really enjoyable and Anya is a funny character
- WITCHRIV yes, I agree, one of the best of the new ones
- Dandadan I watched the anime, but didn't have the time to read the manga, but it's on my list
Oh cool, you're reading them too!
- FT 100YQ I'm reading mostly for the nostalgia, I grew to like the FT characters. But the story is very limiting imo, and I do want more focus on other FT guild members. Luckily we have more of them lately!
- SD doesn't improve much. The fights still look good though. I think you're doing right by letting it marinate, it will be a better read in one sitting.
- Black Clover is almost done, BBEG defeated, the epilogue should drop anytime soon.
- Dead Rock - yes! it loses so much for not being weekly. I like that Hiro is experimenting here.
- Daemons - yes, a new manga from Arakawa. Apparently, it's going to get an anime! I liked Silver Spoon, too. But monthly releases are killing me!

Here is my list
The same you named plus

- Kinatos Magic: remembers me of Fairy Tail
- Shinobi Undercover: A funny manga with a really cool and good artstyle
- The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dgnity: One of the best romance stories I have read so far
- Dealing with the Mikadono Sisters: A funny romance story
- Gachiakuta: I really enjoy the manga but the chapters are often really short
- Make the Exorcists Fall in Love: a monthly manga which is really good written.
- Toilet-bound Hanako-Kun: A shonen I also really like. Good story, characters and art style. Sadly the manga is on hiatus currently.
- 4KoA: the sequel to The Seven Deadly Sins
Interesting! I watched the anime for The Fragnant flower, it is indeed very good. I might pick up something from your list later, since we've got similar tastes! The only exception is probably 4KoA - The Seven Deadly Sins, which was the only manga I kinda rage-quitted. I don't remember exactly what triggered me so much now, I think it was Merlin's final plotline, but I was very, very mad.

Never read versus. But I think the anime is or was in hype?
It's the same writer as OPM and Mob Psycho, so the plot is weird in a cool way. Imagine being a sorcerer who tries to pull a summoning of heroes from another world because local ones failed to defeat the evil, but your spell mashes a dozen or so worlds instead. The twist - every world has an unbeatable calamity! It could be gods, aliens, demons, kajus, you name it. So our human heroes try to figure out how to survive in this mess. It's kinda fun, but it is monthly and has way too many characters. So I will do the same thing I usually do - wait for quite a few chapters to be released, read in bulk, then wait again. I really don't like monthly releases :(

D.Gray-Man is one of the mangas I still read and follow. I really like the story and the characters. But it's hard to wait always 3-4 months for a new chapter :josad:

I think you must wait a long time until the manga will end.
in 3-4 months for a chapter I will forget Allen's name, lol. I hope the mangaka will finish it some day tho. Who is your fav character? I remember liking Allen, he was an interesting protag. And Lavi, the bookman junior. Although I don't remember now why, as he didn't get that much focus when I was still following it.

I like HxH but I dropped it. Because of the many and long hiatus.... :(
Yep, it's one of the worst offenders. But in a way, if you don't start the current arc with Kurapika, it kinda gives you a finished vibe with "and the adventure continues". I've watched the anime recently, it ended exactly there. And it feels good.

Yes, the problem with the manga is, that at the beginning the manga was planned to be only a comedy shonen. But later they changed it into a battle shonen. So the "real manga" starts after first 50-60 chapters I believe.

You can try the anime, they make it with the anime better, there you have "only" 19 or 20 episodes. With the second arc after the first 19 or 20 episodes starts the "real anime".

Back during the time when I watched it the first time I was surprised how they changed it after the first arc and I was glad that I watched it until the second arc.
Hmm. Interesting. I am not sure if I will give it a go, but I'll keep it in mind. Sometimes I have nothing to read and some free time, so I might go for it. Thank you for the explanation!!
