After a second read of the chapter, I kinda want to root for BB, he's more fun

Surely they will be part of the endgame but will they be the final Villains? I still lean towards BBP being the as FV.

Exactly why I think it will be a many sided battle in the end, remember how BB profited during Impel Down / Marineford arc? Luffy was actively opposing WG, trying to save Ace, BB got a badass crew and badass DF.

Oda loves reusing plots. Luffy will gather the men and attack the WG and BB will just wait in the shadows and swoop in at a crucial time.

Oda did say the final arc's war will dwarf Marineford. It's definitely going to be the BB Pirates and the WG (with the Marnes) rolled into one.

Shichibukai was removed but Yonko still have 4.

Plus government just lost Vegapunk which was a considerable power for the government.

If Government was endgame Oda wouldn't keep making new Yonko via Cross Guild when he could reduce the Yonko numbers.

He would keep Shichibukai around so Zolo's final opponent would be a government underling swordsman, Mihawk is currently a Yonko underling swordsman, and Shiryu will be above of Mihawk.
