It surprise me that some people don't like flashback : usuallly One piece flashbacks are awesome : Noland flashback is awesome, Fisher tiger story is awesome, Chopper flashback is awesome, Belle-mère flashback is awesome, Corazon and the dofla family were quite good etc etc

Would people rather guess what happened in a character’s past or make more theories?

Flashbacks are some of the best aspects of the story. In many case they set the emotional weight of the events transpiring in the present time.
One of the reasons that I don't feel very invested in Wano is because the flashback failed to win me over, and I can only imaginae how much worse it would be if we got nothing at all to show why we should care for the Scabbards or Momo.

For me the worst chapter are were when oda drag the story out for no reason and has almost zero impact- like udon or BM chasing SH in WCI

wano has so many bad chapters that it makes me forget other bad chapters of earlier arc.

Probably Dressrosa chapters because I started reading One Piece weekly after chapter 704 during the Collesium fights and remember that I was bored that so many character got introduced.
