Character Discussion Worst character in the series.

Out of those you listed, I only felt completely indifferent to Vander Decken.
The others I at least eother hated, liked, or disliked.
More characters that I don't care about at all:
Robin (virtallly the whole series, except for Enies Lobby)
Brook (almost all of post TS except for WCI)
Kawamatsu
Vegapunk satelites apart from Lilith and Shaka

We've been given a list whose only selection criteria are: a single user personal taste and recenti character introduction (post-TS, 9 of 11 choices). There's obviously a clear giga-bias!
However, I will give you two top 3 lists, one according my personal taste, one according simple criteria (lack of backstory, lack of depth, charisma, remarkable fighting style, flat design, in presence of a relative relevance in at least one story arch/saga).
My worst 3 important characters list
3) Burgess: he's a gymbro on roids that goes ko when he meets a martial fighter. Flat flat flat
2) Smoothie: what else do I have to say? I even forgot She existed
1) Carrot: She sailed with mugiwara for like 2-3 arcs, she was a candidate to join them.
Guys, she's a Rabbit, she's not even a character
Worst 3 important characters list
3) Shiryu: presented like a mere assassin, working for the WG, who kills for fun pirates, promised Zoro opponent near end of story -> "Sorry Sengoku now I'm hanging with these guys as a subordinate" "I'm an invisible man, in East Blue It would have been an awesome Power". Really flat, clueless, too much for such an important character, an incoerent idiot with a sword cosplaying nazis
2) post-TS Chopper: he has been so disappointing and bad written, shame on you Oda for making him a pet
1) Shiraoshi: I'm not against princesses and children per se (in many forums they get so much hate just for that, you are kinda weirdos), but she's annoying, immature, she's not evolving (the fact that you put Momo in this list, who grew in every sense, is a crime), she's a paramount character given her Ancient Weapon status but she's a waste of pages, even more considering how beautiful was her mother's character
Special mention:
-Aramaki is a bot, a normie, average AF, a butt licker, pants-shitter but it's too early to judge him.
-Vice Admiral squad
-Hawkins: no ambitions, no goals, he should be back to the circus since he's the worst New Gen pirate by far
-Yamato is not a bad character per se, she just had an excessive panel time, plus she's a cosplayer and at first some kind of gender fluid person (that triggered many many men). I remember Jimbe being shitted on often years ago, things can be fixed if Oda gives her a personality. Again, too early.
-Lucci and Kaku saved themself in recent chapters, until that they were just boring soldiers
