To return to the subject, Wano as a whole and especially Onigashima was perhaps the greatest wet firecracker in One Piece history. So much hype and anticipation for this arc which was supposed to be the epic culmination of years of buildup for such a gigantic and catastrophic letdown.

I can't describe how disappointed I was with Kaido and his crew's neglected writing and lack of dynamics and build, and how much I hated Oden, the Scabbards and Yamato, and also Big Mom's godawful nerfing and writing.

Queen did have his funny moments but he felt so nerfed in Onigashima, all of the Calamities and F6 were, and he had a cruel lack of interactions and dynamics with Kaido.

And Oda somehow thought it was a good idea to make him Franky's father and yet have zero interaction between the two.

Oda screwed up royally with Big Mom, combatwise with her being handicapped all the time and in the most cringe and ridiculous ways ever imagined, and Kaido in terms of writing of his character, past and crew dynamics.
