Wait who the fuck is even from Mongolia here?
They do say if you are in eurasia you might have some Genghis khan blood :beanmean:

I'm torn - on the one hand, I believe in seeing this through
But on the other, no matter how many times I tag people, the cumulative votes don't exceed 30
Let it end at the designated time..

You should not try again, don't tag them again, just to be safe!

You came last btw man, that sucks....I thought mine would be lower than that too...

:ronalugh::parkcry:

You're from Bosnia though, I had no idea! The amount of diversity with the countries and thus the users and entries here is very awesome! It truly feels like eurovision but on a global scale!
I'd love to see an equivalent of eurovision that is global, would be truly amazing to see many other countries and thus even the other continents get involved too!

This contest was a fantastic idea man, tyvm for hosting it and your hard work, despite its stress! Sorry your entry didn't do better either!
Hopefully we'll have more Worstvisions in the eventual future too?! That would be great!

Now that it's over (and I'm dead last) y'all can link what your second, third, fourth etc choices were
My thinking was "let's choose something no other country has". Rap, Rock, Pop - all of those you can find in every country in the world, but sevdah (the type of song I choose) is something that only exists in Bosnia.
Though, granted, there were better songs to choose, like this one

Alas, my other choices were more mainstream genres, such as:
Dino Merlin - Da Šutiš (or almost any other song by Dino Merlin)
Divlje Jagode - Kap po Kap (most of their stuff is great, as are songs by Bijelo Dugme if you are into those 70s and 80s sounds)
Bijelo Dugme - Lipe Cvatu

And my fav band, but tbf knowing Bosnian is necessary to fully enjoy them:
Zabranjeno Pušenje with dozens of songs to choose from

Being last isn't so bad, but only getting 4 votes is:josad:

I agree that we could make it a traditional tournament here, but probably space it out over 3-4 months at least so it doesn't wear out

And no problem bro, it was a pleasure even if stressful. But now I'm wiser for one tournament and the next one I host can flow better (hopefully)

Congrats @CakeWalker :cheers:Great pick!

Thanks for the tournament @NikaInParis :kata:
Thank you guys for playing and discussing:cheers:

Because of this song, I was so sure you were the one who submitted Yuve yuve yu too! Apparantly I was wrong, so

@CakeWalker, congratulations!
This song was my favorite right from round 1. It was the only band I was curious enough about to go look for other songs of theirs and learn about their unique instruments.
Thanks for introducing me to them. I'm a fan now.

@NikaInParis, thanks for arranging this competition. It was fun and I'm satisfied with my song's 10th place, losing only to 2nd place Oasis. Thanks for the chance of introcing Orphaned Land to more people.

Congrats to everyone in the top, thanks to everyone taking part and special thanks to @NikaInParis for hosting the tournament! That was a lot of fun, and great exposure to the music I would never hear otherwise. I'm happy with the winner, happy with how well my entry did, and even though some of the songs I voted for in the beginning didn't do as well as expected, I'm still glad I got the chance to listen to them!

Cheers to everyone!
:cheers:
