So you know how Big Mom's ultimate homie combination is combining lightning and fire to create this plasma thing she wields with her sword?
And you know how Linlin is able to make prometheus and Hera massive?
Well then, why is it that whenever big mom uses her ultimate homie combination, it's always this pacifista like laser beam or Misery, an attack that looks visually worse than King's fire dragon thing, and not something comparable to this:
I don't get it. Just looking at what prometheus and hera are capable of at max power just by themselves, combined they should easily be capable of performing an island level attack. The fact that its been said over and over that Linlin is comparable to kaido is just proof of this. Yet instead of something rivaling kaido's flaming dragon, we got this:
And then you wonder why people think Linlin is the weakest top tier. She is the only one that Oda gives this level of treatment to. She is coincidentally the only one who is a woman. I don't mean to be that guy, but sexist much? Out of all the top tiers the one woman is coincidentally the only one who is portrayed a clown for absolutely no reason. Its not that she is weak, because as I said, she should easily be capable of doing something like this. But the plot for whatever reason never allows her to do it.
And I don't know why? Why make Kid and Law fight her and beat her and give them 3 billion berry bounties if you aren't even going to let big mom use her full strength or even do anything resembling a top tier? This man literally has big mom throwing metal and fucking traced the same panel of her standing in front of kid and law in like 3 chapters, but couldn't bother showing her use ACoC even once(apart from maybe 1040).
This is why people say Oda is out of his prime. Because literally any other competent author could write this character better. I don't even think this has anything to do with powerlevels, because you could easily write big mom looking like a top tier and still have kid and law countering her and it make sense. Like, for example; what the fuck ever happened to Law's ability to create barriers?

And whatever happened to that giant sword in onigashima that was utterly pointless at the end of the arc? You really couldn't have Kid and/or Law use it in any fashion? You couldn't have them multiply their powerlevels by doing some sort of combination move(like what kaido and BM did with hakai)?
Honestly, I think Oda was just cutting corners and being lazy. It would have taken an extra chapter to draw Linlin using a massive attack and the supernova countering it, so what do you do? Just make linlin look awful.
It doesn't matter. Its not like linlin is an emperor or anything. Its not like her defeat is one of the most important events in one piece or anything. Its not like wano has literally been hyped since punk hazard or anything.

The reason Big Mom didn't use a bigger attack was because she was inside the island. Even if she is fucking nuts, she's somewhat rational when she's not hungry: Big Mom isn't going to intentionally blow up the island owned by her "little brother", who she just formed an alliance with. That's why the AOE was way smaller. Think of it as a tactical nuke compared to a regular one: still a nuke.

BM vs. Law and Kidd was a battle of DFs, Kaido and Luffy was a battle of haki. Both DF and haki was used in each battle but there was preference towards one.
If you switched the matchups from Luffy vs. BM and Kidd/Law vs. Kaido, I almost guarantee you that the preferences would be reversed. BM would be showing off her haki more, Kaido his DF more.
Just look at Luffy's most recent battles. Cracker, Katakuri, O-Lin, even Ulti, they all had major haki implications, Cracker's haki was stated to be insanely powerful and Ulti herself got an amazing haki feat from just fighting with Luffy.
