Pretty much ... Zoro has said it before himself, this is also a mentality that they both have, they won't interfere no matter what. Simialrily with Lucci vs Luffy, sure the crew could have jumped Lucci and be on there way but Zoro told them all to not interfere and let Luffy handle it.

The scenes are going over your head. When it comes to duels in Luffy’s eyes no one interferes same applies to Zoro.

Also the scene with Yasaku and Johnny preparing to assist Zoro vs Mihawk, as much as he wanted to he couldn’t out of respect for himself and Zoro.

That is literally Zoro's life long dream and Luffy would not ruin that.

Zoro training his entire life, even going as far begging Mihawk to train him just to have Luffy save him in the critical moment? that would a total embarassment.
