General & Others Would you have preferred Elbaf?

I’m liking Egghead so far but honestly I’m bummed there’s no Elbaf… For the longest when we were trapped in Wano Hell, everyone always talked about the next arc being Elbaf, speculation on what would happen, Usopp fans swore up and down he would get CoC, Big Mom fans really thought she would show up there, etc

I think I would have actually rathered an arc on the Giants and their culture + history, see a top tier Giant, see the Straw Hats wear some viking drip, and even maybe show Big Mom get killed there… FINALLY GET A LORE DROP ABOUT THE ANCIENT GIANTS, WHO TF ARE THE YETI COOL BROTHERS, NUMBERS, RELATION WITH KAIDOS RACE, GIANTS IN THE MARINES, WHY THEIR SIZE IS SO VALUED WHEN WE ONLY SEE THEM BE FODDER

Mainly cause I'm over super long arcs where we're stuck on one island and we don't learn much

If Elbaf wasn't that long (give or take 50-60 chapters) then I'd be down

I also don't think there will be an Elbaf arc at all, simply not enough time for it given Oda's intent to end the manga rather soon

One of the down sides of the community is sometimes people say stuff so much it will sounds like a fact and people kept assuming Elbaf right after Wano. In fairness we are more than likely getting it anyways.

For now yes. I mean it was nigh time for Vegapunk to be introduced but maybe a whole arc is too much. I hope he will get a Zou like arc (so a short arc). Elbaf would have been interesting to see these giants, their invincible army, this Loki character (mischievous plotting giant?), some interactions with BM after she killed the 2 elders, Usopp, maybe Dory and Broggy back to their home. The giant crew who terrorised the seas. There was and still is a lot of stuff to say and tell about Elbaf.

Nah I just expected the arc to be Elbaf but this is a very welcomed surprise I always thought Vegapunk would be saved for the last arc, Egghead has sooo much potential I’m excited.

I believe that Egghead is similar to Whisky Peak. After Whisky Peak they went to Little Garden, where the Strawhats met two giants. So it would fit if, after Egghead, they went to Elbaf. Made a video about that:

Also I could see that the Sunny gets heavily injured through fighting on Egghead. Elbaf is probably where the Adamwood comes from, that Franky would need to repair the ship. Might be a reason to go there.
