Break Week Would Zoro and Sanji fans be happy if the straw hats were removed from the story, so the monster duo could shine uninterrupted by "lesser straw hats"?

A story with just these 3 as the main characters? I'd definitely read/watch it. Their All in my Top 5 Fav characters. And since their all competent the tension would go up considerably. And the lack of Nami & Usopp, Robin and Chopper makes Sanji and Luffy a lot more serious characters. Idk if its better but I'd definitely like to see it.
While i really liked and still like Sanji and Zoro, i would prefer a One Piece without them instead of without the rest. The fandom wars and the behavior of the Fans ruin these characters pretty much oftenly.
Additionaly, when will Zoro build a proper character? It feels like there is nothing beside swinging his swords. People who mostly care for fights are extremely happy with these kind of character, but i would love to see some more story and character. Characters like Katakuri or Enel, which are lost in the void now, have more characterbuilding.

I never saw anything like this. Why are you inventing stuff ? Since the post skip, everyone agree that it's not the straw hats, sanji or zoro the issue but luffy since they all became inexistant in Oda's eyes.
Zoro is fine, he doesn't need more what he has right now.
The only thing we need is more SH interactions.

I agree with u for the most part but Pre TS Zoro was already a solid, great and well established character...
Beside the fighting, there r great moments for Zoro:
-His will and resolve to become the WSS even after being humiliated by mihawk.
-Due to Mihawk's slash he spent most of Pre-Ts half dead, and yet he kept contributing to the crew.
-in Water 7 (when Usopp wanted to keep GM)
-Against Kuma, he decided to sacrifice his dream and his life for his captain..
-In little Garden, he was willing to cut his legs to save Nami and ViVi

He was the right combination of wild ambition and selfless behavior.
There isn't much room for Zoro's character to grow post Ts.. That's why it seems bland..
But i still think Wano was great for Zoro's characterization.

I'm saying in the name of both fans community. Zoro is my favorite but I'm still a fan of Sanji.
None of us think like that. This is stupid thing you come up from nothing. Literally never saw anyone saying anything similar to that.
As Zoro and Sanji fans we like Strawhats as a whole. Not necessarily we have to like every strawhats (Jay D Legend for some reason deeply hates Chopper) but we like the crew.

Every Straw hat is needed and got a role to play in the story and in the crew. If anyone should be left out it should be zoro since he got no role in the crew. Luffy, Sanji, Jinbei can already fight and they fights even better compared to zoro. zoro got no specific role in the crew. the dude is sleeping as others do the hardwork. However Oda needs luffy to have a proper pet who may listen to everything he says. chopper is the doctor so cant play the role of being a pet anymore. zoro fits the role of being the pet of the crew since he listens to everything luffy says and cant bring himself to oppose luffy and act on his own like how Sanji did. loyalty has always been the number 1 trait of a being a pet. so I guess zoro can be the pet of the crew :cheers:

I fuck with Brook but Oda barely gives him shit to do anyways, his only real shining moment came from WCI and that's only because half the crew was there.

If you were to have Zoro or Sanji as the MC instead of Luffy, of course there would be people that would complains like, "OMG, Zoro is a garbage trash MC" or "Sanji is pathetic as a protagonist" stuff like that. It would be a circle all over again.
Having more Strawhats makes things more lively and diverse. Don't think anybody is genuinely serious about the lesser SHs being background characters just for the sake of their favs shines.
