Character Discussion Would Zoro be better as the main character instead of Luffy?

You guys ever ate chicken or a burger with no seasoning or even drank a diet soda or sparkling water with no flavor? Bland/Dry/Stale
Yeah, that’s what one piece would be with Zoro as the MC. Even Sanji already has his own spin off due to how masterful he’s written
Zoro was a great character pre-ts I will admit. He bounced off of Nami, Luffy, Sanji and Usopp even chopper. Now he’s just a subservient Sasuke essentially who’s only character development post ts was written through an SBS………..lol

I truly do miss the old funny zoro who wasn’t afraid to be goofy or have his gags
But Oda is kinda a terrible writer in a few ways. How tf bro supposed to be on a journey to becoming a master swordsman and yet his only REAL competition is a Chef?
Like Zoro genuinely has no other swordsman to compete with besides Shiryu and Mihawk but that’s all reserved for EoS. Notice how Zorofans either talk about Sanji more than they do any other swordsman…….they even mention luffy to a lesser extent cause obviously they’re trolling when it comes to him
Oda took a massive L on this. People love to cry that Sanji and Zoro’s rivalry is a “gag” but Zoro seems to take it both seriously and personal. Something he doesn’t even feel towards a single other swordsman
He even goes on to say “well I’m worth 2000 men!” Once Luffy complimented Sanji’s worth of 1000 men and nami had to basically console him lol
