Cena tapping out, accepting he was beat by Gunther in every way and going out on his own terms is a great bookend to his career.

Triple H and the WWE at large suck at a lot of things but this match ending isn't one of them.

Yeah I have seen lots of criticisms about John losing and tapping out to Gunther, but I was happy that he had an amazing match and put Gunther over as he most likely wanted.

The PPV was also one where other future superstars had the time to shine such as Oba Femi, even if the end of his match with Cody Rhodes was dubious, and Sol Ruca in her match against Bayley, and Je'von Evans and Leon Slater also showed their worth once again against Aj Styles and Dragon Lee even if the match was too short to my taste.

End of an era, really. My interest in pro wrestling is about to plummet to a great degree now that I know Cena hung em up.
